How long does it take to complete the challenge?

We recommend you allow students up to 1 hour to complete the entire challenge. The escape room can be completed over multiple classes as long as the students keep their answer sheet open.

We recommend students work in groups. Groups who finish early can complete the Digital Escape Room Reflection Sheet.

How do I “move around” in the 360º photo?

Click and drag the mouse to move throughout the 360 environment.

Clues involve:

Assembling digital jigsaw puzzles to reveal 4th grade math challenges such as double-digit multiplication or multi-digit subtraction.

Solving math-based crossword puzzles that require students to write numbers in standard form — or adding multi-digit numbers — to then find a clue by adding parts of the numbers together.

Rounding a series of numbers to the nearest hundred or thousand – or long division – in order to reveal a final math challenge that lets them escape from this room.

Paying close attention to animated videos that direct students to solve multi-digit multiplication or using place value knowledge to compare numbers.
