About our Escape Rooms

The world is changing.

The role of the teacher- as the primary source of information and the students as passive absorbents – is starting to shift to “guide on the side” as as students take more responsibility for their own learning, using technology to gather relevant information.

While not an entirely new approach, student learning spaces will supercede the typical classroom that we know today. This will see students become partners or co-creators of their own learning.

RMIT School of Education Professor Tricia McLaughlin.

This process was only accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools and teachers were forced to open the front doors to technologies that were trying to sneak in.

There is no doubt that technology is a powerful tool that can support and transform education in many ways, by making it easier for teachers to create instructional materials and enabling new ways for people to learn and work together. But creating resources that are worthy of students’ attention is and time consuming.

So we asked ourselves: how can we make the opportunities provided by technology accessible to all teachers?

Our solution:

360° Digital Escape Rooms

What students need

Students are eager to learn- they always have been. They are naturally curious and want to become masters.
But their average stimulation has changed, they are growing up with technology out the womb and are no longer subdued by worksheets or movies.
They crave intellectual stimulation and making connections.

What Teachers need

The biggest challenge teachers will face when in-person school returns is a massive knowledge gap between students, so they must have resources that keep students highly engaged and empowers them to work independently in small groups.
